Howdy from Kansas City!

Hello everyone!  Mr. Einstein here.  That City Museum really knocked me out!

We stayed the night in Kansas City to rest up for our great trek across Kansas today!  We had a great Irish breakfast and then went 630 feet up in the Gateway Arch before we left St Louis yesterday.

Once we got to Kansas City, we had some Gates barbecue and drove through the city (most shops were closed by 6), and then went to bed.

We're well rested and eager to make it through Kansas!  Rob's been doing most of the driving, Denise has taken a few hour-long stretches, and they still haven't let me have a go at it!

Bonjour from St. Louis!

We made it to St. Louis!  Last night, we had a blast at the City Museum, and today after breakfast we're going to go up in the Gateway Arch and explore downtown a little.  We're going to drive a short distance to Kansas City tonight to rest up for the haul across Kansas we plan to make tomorrow.

Rob is really excited for Kansas City barbecue.  I'm really excited to not stop somewhere in the middle of Kansas.  This is Denise, by the way; Mr. Einstein wore himself out at the City Museum and is still napping.

I'll try and add pictures once we make it to Kansas City.  Hopefully by then Mr. Einstein will be awake enough to add his input.

Greetings from Chicago!

This is another quick update to let you know the three of us made it to Chicago!  There is so much to see and do in Chicago, we hardly scratched the surface.  Rob made us get deep dish pizza for dinner which wasn't bad, but wasn't really pizza either (at least in my opinion).  We walked the Magnificent Mile, and from there walked to the Navy Pier.

Chicago has so much interesting architecture and so many things to see, we definitely want to come back and spend more than a night here.

Well, we've gotta get a move on to St. Louis! 

Hello from Pittsburgh!

Greetings to you all!  This is Mr. Einstein, dropping in to tell you we made it to Pittsburgh!

Turns out, when you get to Pittsburgh at 6:30 PM, there isn't much to do.


However, we found a "dive" that was featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives to eat at for dinner!  There is where we discovered Denise likes Lebanese food!  Who would have figured?


We want to get to Chicago earlier, so we're heading out the door, but expect pictures and more on the drive sometime soon!
